The police chased the perpetrator late on Friday night.

- We work broadly now.

We try to gather as much information as we can.

Part of that is to interrogate the woman, but there care must first be given priority.

We are also grateful for any witness information, says Rickard Lundqvist, press spokesperson at the police.

The police were alerted to the incident on 22.18.

The woman must then have managed to contact the police and told them that she had been beaten and robbed by a man unknown to her at Kämpaslätten in northern Sölvesborg.

The crime scene is described as some form of industrial area.

- It's a bit messy, she must have been forced into her car, but if it's her own or the perpetrator's I do not know.

But she has been temporarily detained, after which the perpetrator stole her car, Lundqvist says.

It is unclear what type of violence the perpetrator used, or how severely injured the woman is.

But she was taken by ambulance to hospital.

Just before midnight, the police had not found a car, dogs or perpetrator.
