The search for "Kjelle-Blues" has been going on in several rounds.

Police divers have been looking for clues in Storsjön, several times the police have searched in Sandviken with the help of dead dogs, they have appealed for tips via the TV program Wanted and two people have been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, but released.

- In the last period of these thirteen years, information has been received by the police authority that is really interesting and so interesting that we have handed over the preliminary investigation to the Public Prosecutor's Office, says Christer Löf, inspector of serious crimes.

"The whole of Sandviken thinks it's time"

With the new information, the police now hope to be able to solve the case.

- It would feel incredibly nice if we got a solution to this.

I basically think that the whole of Sandviken would think so.

It is time that we can solve this now, says Christer Löf.

Major investigative effort

A major investigation is now being planned.

Among other things, the police will interrogate at least 40 people who have not been interrogated before.

They will also perform searches for Kjell-Ove Andersson in places not previously searched in Gästrikland.
