On October 22, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin presided over a regular press conference.

Wang Wenbin said that at the 76th UN General Assembly Third Committee meeting on October 21, Cuba made a joint speech on behalf of 62 countries.

Emphasize that Hong Kong, Xinjiang, and Tibet affairs are China’s internal affairs and that outsiders should not interfere, support China’s implementation of "one country, two systems" in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and oppose the politicization of human rights issues and double standards.

It opposes politically motivated and unreasonable accusations against China based on false information, and opposes interference in China's internal affairs under the pretext of human rights.

Wang Wenbin said that more than 30 other countries have supported China through individual speeches and joint letters.

Following the 48th session of the Human Rights Council a few days ago, nearly a hundred countries once again voiced justice in the United Nations, expressing their support for China's legitimate position, which fully demonstrated justice and freedom.

Based on false information, rumors and lies, a few Western countries continue to attack China on Xinjiang-related issues and interfere in China's internal affairs under the guise of human rights.

China firmly opposes this. China's determination to safeguard its national sovereignty, security and development interests is unwavering, and their plans will not succeed.
