Injured in a fire at a plant near Ryazan, died in hospital

“The victim in a fire in the village of Lesnoy, Shilovsky District, Ryazan Region, who was taken to the Design Bureau, died,” the statement says.

The assistant to the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Alexei Kuznetsov, said earlier that as a result of an explosion and a fire in the powder shop of a plant near Ryazan, 16 people died, and another one received burns on 80% of the body surface.

The prosecutor's office organized an investigation into the incident.
