In a press release from the Russian Embassy in Tirana, it is noted that in accordance with Russian law, an additional forensic examination may be carried out to find out the causes of death of tourists.

"We look forward to the earliest possible receipt of official conclusions from the Albanian side on this issue and further close cooperation of Russian and Albanian law enforcement agencies to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy," the statement says.

Earlier, in the material of the portal Albanian Daily News, citing a report from the prosecutor's office, it was reported that no traces of violence were found on the bodies of Russian tourists.

According to Albanian media, the bodies of four Russians were found in a hotel sauna in the village of Kerret, Kavaya district.

Presumably, they died of suffocation.
