.

The young girls, aged 16 and 17, had run away for several weeks when they were found this Sunday.

They then explained to the police to have prostituted themselves in Mantes-la-Jolie.

Thanks to reports from victims and a telephone wiretapping, the couple were arrested the next day.

"50% of their earnings were donated to the couple"

But the suspects' versions differ.

The man claimed to have just lodged the teenage girls with him for a few days and explained that he had posted ads on the Internet to defraud potential clients of prostitutes.

His partner confessed to having prostituted herself several times.

While the couple assured that they had not received any money linked to prostitution, the two victims claimed the opposite.

“They declared that 50% of their earnings were donated to the couple, and that they were regularly taken to hotels in the Mantaise region to make passes,” a source familiar with the matter told our colleagues.

The two suspects will be tried on November 24 by the court of Versailles.
