Västervik Municipal Council: Looking forward to being reviewed

Before the year 2022 is over, SVT must have started its editorial office on site in Västervik.

A reporter will be stationed in the city and monitor the local area.

- For democracy, it is an important victory, says Dan Nilsson.

SVT aims to have 50 locations in Sweden by 2023. In the coming years, Västervik will be one of the new editorial locations, together with Åmål, Dorotea and Märsta.

What do you expect now, to be scrutinized even harder?

- I'm looking forward to it.
