Five young people in their twenties, from Vaulx-en-Velin, Lyon and Villeurbanne were arrested Monday evening in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon.
They are accused of having attacked at least two people under the threat of a taser.
The first was beaten before having her cell phone stolen.
The second, who had just attended the scene from her car, was also taken to task by the band brandishing the taser, revealed this Thursday the Sûreté du Rhône.
Two suspects released, three placed under judicial supervision
The suspects then fled in their vehicle.
Spotted in the Vaise district, they refused to stop but were intercepted a few meters away.
The scans revealed that the driver was drunk.
The police discovered, during the search of the car, a stolen passport, a wad of banknotes, two cutters, the taser and cannabis.
Four of the suspects were already known to the police.
Three of them were placed under judicial supervision before they went to court.
The other two were released without any prosecution.
