The silver treasure was found in Ausburg today's southern Germany.
It weighs a full 15 kilos and consists of about 5700 coins from varying eras.
The oldest coin is from the time of the infamous Emperor Nero and is thus around 1950 years old.
The amount of coins is enormous compared to what a soldier earned at the time the camp was in existence - as much as eleven times more than an annual income.
