The parliamentarian stressed that recently around the world, as well as in Russia, cases of child, adolescent and youth violence in educational institutions have become more frequent.

Meanwhile, according to the deputy, prevention and monitoring are one of the most effective methods of combating such phenomena.

“I must admit that the mechanism of psychological and psychiatric monitoring in educational institutions of Russia is rather weak.

Educational institutions of law enforcement and special services take psychological selection quite seriously, but educational institutions of a civil and general orientation often neglect such prevention, ”said the interlocutor of RT.

As Milonov explained, if psychological testing of students took place on a regular basis in schools, colleges and universities, "then many cases of outbreaks of violence could have been avoided."

“In this regard, I ask you to consider the idea of introducing regular psychological testing for all, without exception, students of educational institutions in our country.

I am sure that two or three annual testing will help identify and provide assistance to those children who are in a difficult life situation and are one step away from making the worst mistake in their life, ”the appeal says.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin supported the idea of creating an Internet platform for psychological assistance to schoolchildren.

On October 18, it became known that a sixth grader fired two shots from a weapon at a school in the village of Sars in the Perm Territory.

The IC of Russia reported that the student was sent to a special medical institution for examination.
