• Basque Country Otegi: "We have 200 prisoners in jail and if we have to vote on the Budgets to get them out, we will vote for them"

  • The acts of the PP on ETA Rajoy to Zapatero before the negotiation in 2006: "Do what you have to do and you are telling me"

The tenth anniversary of the end of the ETA violence has marked the government control session with a new bitter confrontation between the president and the leader of the opposition. Pablo Casado reminded Pedro Sánchez of his deception of the Spanish when he said: "We are not going to agree with Bildu. If you want, I will say it five or twenty times. That question offends. Nothing is agreed with Bildu." Words said in campaign that are now denied, according to the PP, by the alliance between the Government and Bildu, a pact that, for the

popular

, is nothing more than the "laundering" of the heirs of the terrorists to "maintain power" and the first step to continue in Moncloa is the approval of the General State Budgets.

With these prolegomena, Casado has asked Sánchez if he is going to get 200 terrorists out of jail in exchange for the five EH Bildu deputies to vote in favor of the Budgets in Congress, as Arnaldo Otegi has explained to his militancy and Furthermore, it has ordered him to immediately break any agreement with Bildu. To this direct question, the President of the Government has responded with a "resounding no" and has regretted that the PP doubts the Executive's intentions in this area. However, what the president has not committed to is to break with Bildu, a formation that he considers an ally in Congress and which he needs to carry out all the parliamentary initiatives, mainly the state accounts.

Sánchez has assured that the PSOE "has never used terrorism" when ETA existed and has stressed that it will not do so now that it has ceased to exist. The Prime Minister has taken the opportunity to remember that he was a socialist president, Zapatero; a

socialist

lehendakari

, Patxi López, and a minister of the Interior, also a socialist, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, those who were in power when ETA was ended, but at the same time they have recalled that the success of the end of the violence is also of the PP and of Spanish democracy.

For this reason, he has said "not to understand" why the right wing always conveys a "bitter vision" of the "end forever" of ETA terrorism.

That Casado doubts the government's intentions with respect to terrorist prisoners is something that Sánchez says "fills him with pain" because in

Spain

, he has specified "the law prevails."

However, these words are nothing but hollow statements to the

popular ,,

they see every day in Congress as the socialist pact with Bildu, a force which they consider allied and which wrested in

Navarra

the Government of Navarra Suma.

Just yesterday, the

popular ones

registered a Proposal not of law in the Congress urging precisely the Government to break any type of alliance with the formations that do not condemn terrorism, in direct reference to EH Bildu, and to consider the murders of ETA as crimes against the Humanity so that they do not prescribe.

This is why the leader of the PP has snapped at the president: "It is not possible to agree and whitewash to continue in power those who justify the murder of 850 innocents." Casado has reminded Sánchez of the words of

Enrique Múgica

when he said that "it is better to lose votes than to lose your soul." The leader of the

popular

has insisted before the Plenary that ETA was defeated by the police forces and the Judicial Power, "not the cessions of Zapatero" to Otegi, coordinator of Bildu, and to whom Casado, unlike the former president of the Government, he does not consider "a man of peace", but a "terrorist".

At another point in the control session, and after an intervention by EH Bildu questioning the independence of the judges, the Minister of Justice, Pilar Llop, has responded that the tributes to EHR represent a "real humiliation" for the victims of the terrorism and for "democratic" people.

"Your Honor, all citizens are neither going to be the same nor will we be the same as long as there are

etorris ongi

and tributes made to ETA members who have been released from prisons," he said.

After the control session, the parliamentary groups have reacted to Otegi's words linking the freedom of the prisoners and his support to the Budgets and to the response that Sánchez has given in Congress.

PP: "Sánchez is the president of lies"

"If someone had been deceived, Otegi takes off his mask only hours after his statement" with the information about his statements about the negotiation of the Budget, they think in the PP, where they see "a shame" that says "we have" 200 prisoners, in the first person plural.

"Otegi does not condemn terrorism, he supports the tributes to ETA members, he does not help to clarify the unsolved crimes ... and now he makes clear the price to support the Budgets", criticize sources from Genoa.

"On a day like today, Sánchez has to keep his word for once and break with Bildu," they claim.

"We are not going to accept that the relationship with those who do not condemn terrorism is 'normalized'," they add.

Regarding the "resounding no" that Sánchez has answered to Casado when asked if he will get the ETA members out of jail in exchange for Bildu's budget support, the PP asks: "How many times has Sánchez lied? How many prisoners Have you already approached following the Bildu guidelines? ".

And they conclude: "Sánchez assures" resounding "that he will not get 200 ETA members out of jail ... as he also resoundingly assured that he would never agree with Bildu. He is the president of lies."

Santiago Abascal and Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, upon arrival at the Congress.

Abascal: "ETA is in the direction of the State"

"Otegi, who does not have any moral quality, has been characterized in recent times for telling the truth and for telling all Spaniards that ETA is in the direction of the State, that we are going to have to vote on ETA's budgets in this Congress ", says the leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal.

"Today we know once again that Pedro Sánchez and Arnaldo Otegi share a plan to alter the national reality, the social reality, the democratic reality in Spain. And therefore we enter this Hemicycle today really aware of the gravity taking into account that in We will have to vote here for a short time on the budgets of the terrorist group ETA, he declared in Congress moments before intervening in the control session.

In addition, the leader of Vox denounces that during the last days "we have suffered the attempted whitewashing of Otegi. We have had to endure the attempt to trample on the victims of terrorism. And, furthermore, today we learned that Mariano Rajoy's PP was in the garlic once we have known the minutes with the communications and the conversations of ETA of the Government of ZP This is extremely serious, added the political leader, referring to the information published today in

Inés Arrimadas, in Congress, EFE

Arrimadas: "How do you sleep peacefully?"

In the midst of the controversy over the words of the EH Bildu spokesperson, the president of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, has reproached the members of the Government "how they sleep peacefully" having chosen EH Bildu as a partner "and being negotiating the Budgets in exchange for ETA prisoners ". Thus, he has urged the Executive to do less verbal rhetoric about the tributes to ETA members who have been released from prison and vote in favor of an initiative of Citizens that will soon reach the Plenary if they are really interested in doing something.

For the rest, the leader of Ciudadanos has stated that Sánchez has committed an "ignominy" by "associating himself" with Otegi, a "convicted of kidnapping."

And, now that they are negotiating with his party their support for the Budgets, Arrimadas has proclaimed his total opposition to this party being able to "condition anything" in Spain and has assured that the orange formation will work "to put an end to that anomaly that the batasunos decide "the future of the Spanish.

Silence of Podemos

United We Can, for the moment, is silent after Otegi's words and Sánchez's response.

The

purple

party

, however, redefined its relationship with EH Bildu a few days ago.

In its new roadmap, Podemos considered the Basque and Catalan formations "strategic allies" for them and for the PSOE, as they are fundamental to sustain the current government and prevent the right from reaching

La Moncloa

.

For this reason, the majority member of the Executive was reminded of the need to reach agreements and maintain harmony with these parties, despite the existing disagreements, such as the pro-independence component: "Working together is a historical imperative and caring for these alliances a political task central".
