A bomb attack on a military vehicle occurred in the Syrian capital Damascus on the early morning of October 20, local time, resulting in 13 deaths and 3 injuries.
According to the Syrian News Agency, when a military bus was driving under the Presidential Bridge in the center of Damascus, two explosive devices placed on the bus were detonated. The bus was blown up and its body was severely deformed.
Subsequently, military personnel also dismantled the third explosive device that had not yet detonated at the explosion site.
The identity of the dead and injured is currently unclear.
Syrian officials classified the incident as a "terrorist attack."
No organization has claimed to have caused this attack.
