Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate for the People's Power, is expected to be controversial for his remarks as if he was defending Chun Doo-hwan.
Candidate Yoon said in a meeting with party members in Busan today (19th), "There are many people who say that President Chun Doo-hwan did something wrong, but he did really well in politics, except for the military coup."
Candidate Yoon went on to say that the people of Honam also talk about it, explaining that the reason is because the military has managed the organization.
