It was on the evening of May 10 that one of the police drug detectives saw two men fishing a weapon from a bush in Råbergstorp and shooting at a man in his 20s.

The same evening, the 35-year-old man was arrested by the police in Torshälla and came to be suspected of involvement in the act.

He has been described by the police as one of the leaders in the criminal world in Eskilstuna and on Tuesday the verdict fell against the 35-year-old.

The man is now sentenced to two years and nine months in prison for a felony, but acquitted of attempted murder of the man in his 20s.

At the end of last week, a 20-year-old resident of Eskilstuna was arrested at Arlanda airport for participating in the shooting.
