As noted, the DPRK is conducting tests while the leading world powers are holding consultations to stabilize the situation and establish peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Earlier it was reported that North Korea fired an unidentified shell towards the Sea of Japan.
Later, a committee of the chiefs of staff of the South Korean Armed Forces announced that the DPRK had launched a ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida also said that two shells were fired from North Korea towards the Sea of Japan, which are most likely ballistic missiles.
