North Korea announced a test launch of a missile from a submarine

According to the agency, the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (CTAC) reported that the launch was carried out by the DPRK Defense Academy on October 19.

It is noted that the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un did not personally participate in the tests.

Earlier, the Japanese authorities condemned the North Korean missile launches and announced their intention to build up the country's defense.
