China News Agency, Beijing, October 19th. Comprehensive news: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Khatibzad said on the 18th that Iran will hold talks with the European Union on the Iranian nuclear issue in Brussels, Belgium, in the next few days.

On the 14th of this month, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Bagheri and EU Deputy Secretary-General Mora held talks in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Khatibzad said on the 18th that the talks between the two sides were "progressing well" and "constructive."

He also said that the unresolved issue of the Iranian nuclear agreement in the Vienna talks will continue to be discussed in Brussels, and Bagheri will lead a delegation to participate in the talks.

He also emphasized that Iran’s main goal is to ensure that all sanctions against Iran are lifted, while the United States unconditionally resumes fulfilling its obligations under the Iran nuclear agreement.

According to a Reuters report, Iranian President Leahy said in an interview on the 18th that Iran is sincere in conducting result-oriented Iranian nuclear negotiations, and the United States should also show its sincerity in lifting sanctions against Iran.

Leahy said that the new Iranian government will continue negotiations, but it will never link people's livelihood and the market with the Iran nuclear negotiations.

The Iranian representative has expressed sincerity in the negotiations when he held talks with the EU representatives a few days ago.

The Austrian "News" reported on the 17th that Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahhiyan hopes to continue the talks on the Iranian nuclear agreement that had been interrupted in June this year in Brussels on the 21st of this month.

The Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the final talks on the Iranian nuclear issue will still be held in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

In September of this year, the then Austrian Foreign Minister and current Austrian Chancellor Schellenberg confirmed that Vienna is ready to be the venue for talks with Iran.

In July 2015, Iran and the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany reached a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue.

After the US government unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear agreement in May 2018, it restarted and added a series of sanctions against Iran.

Since May 2019, Iran has gradually suspended the implementation of certain provisions of the Iran nuclear agreement, but promised that the measures taken are "reversible."

In April this year, the talks between the relevant parties to the Iranian nuclear agreement began in Vienna to discuss the issue of the United States and Iran to resume the implementation of the agreement. Six rounds have been held so far.

Due to serious differences between the United States and Iran and other issues, a new round of talks has not been held for a long time.
