The 17-year-old has been in custody since last summer, suspected of probable cause for the murder of a policeman in Biskopsgården on 30 June.

He still denies the act, says the 17-year-old's defense lawyer Hans Palm.

During today's remand hearing, it was also decided that he should be forcibly placed according to LVU.

- As soon as the prosecutor requests that the restrictions end, he can be taken directly to a treatment home, says the 17-year-old's lawyer Hans Palm.

Will remain in custody

The suspected 17-year-old has been in custody since the fourth of July with severe restrictions.

It is unusual for such young people to be detained for such a long time, but due to the serious suspicions, the 17-year-old will probably be detained until the trial is over.

- He will remain in custody because treatment homes can not achieve the restrictions and security that the prosecutor wants, says Hans Palm.

The next arrest hearing will take place on the first of November.

Want care

At the same time as the decision to forcibly place the teenager was made, it was also decided that he should be remanded in custody until the first of November, which means that the LVU decision is pending.

The 17-year-old himself agreed to the LVU decision, and would rather have care than be deprived of his liberty, it says in the administrative court's decision.

He still denies the allegations.
