The indictment contains five occasions in the past year when the man, a Karlskrona resident in his 40s, is alleged to have insulted, humiliated and abused his then partner in various ways.
According to the preliminary investigation, the first incidents took place in April this year, when the man repeatedly hit his partner in the face - with bruises and an injured nose as a result.
In the following months, the violence escalated, according to the indictment.
Witnesses prove the woman's information
The man, who is in custody pending trial, tore off the woman's clothes on two occasions - on a date in August, he is also said to have photographed his partner naked in front of an acquaintance.
Karlskronabon, who is already known to the police, denies the crime, but several witnesses confirm the woman's information.
