The master of comedy cinema Mel Brooks, 95, participates in the writing of a second part of the "Crazy history of the world", an eight-part series commissioned by the Hulu platform, she announced, 40 years old. after the cinema release of this burlesque comedy.

According to Hulu, Mel Brooks will be supported for production and writing by Nick Kroll, Wanda Sykes, Ike Barinholtz, David Stassen and Kevin Salter.

Writing for the series should begin "this month" and filming in the spring of 2022, said the platform, whose majority shareholder is Disney.

A worldwide success after its release in 1981, "Folle histoire du monde" is a slapstick comedy that parodies history from the Stone Age to the French Revolution.
