In Russia, 34,325 cases of coronavirus were detected per day

For the entire time of the pandemic in Russia, 8,027,012 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed.

Over the past day, 998 people have died in the country from the consequences of coronavirus infection, the operational headquarters reports.

Over the entire period, 224 310 deaths were recorded in Russia.

The day before, 997 deaths were reported.

It is noted that 16 431 people were discharged a day after the coronavirus.

In total, 7,017,055 patients recovered during the pandemic.

The day before, 18,717 people were discharged.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that more than 51 million Russians were vaccinated with the first component of the coronavirus vaccine in Russia. 

Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously stated the need to increase the rate of vaccination.

In September, the immunologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences Nikolai Kryuchkov, in an interview with the FAN, gave recommendations on vaccinations against influenza and coronavirus.
