"Expo 2020 Dubai" recorded 771,477 visits, as of the day before yesterday, from all over the world, while the demand for the most diverse international exhibition ever continues.

The latest data revealed by the Expo 2020 Dubai office during the media briefing yesterday showed that half of the visitors used seasonal tickets to visit the exhibition and its many events, noting that more than 100,000 people visited Expo 2020 Dubai twice, while more than 35,000 Three visits.

The data showed that visitors to the international event, which was launched on the first of October, and which includes special pavilions for 192 countries, belong to 181 nationalities, pointing out that the number of visits recorded a weekly growth rate of about 12%, as the first ten days of the exhibition's activities recorded 411 thousand. and 768 visits.

The Expo 2020 Dubai office stated that the announced figures include visitors who purchased tickets to attend Expo 2020 Dubai, and do not include representatives of participating international bodies, their delegations or guests, nor do they include Expo employees, partners or invitees from Official agencies.

"Visitors to the international exhibition are increasing from all over the world, and this is a really great achievement considering that many countries still impose travel restrictions," said Shauna McGee, Vice President of Communications at Expo 2020 Dubai, adding: "We are very excited about that." ».

She indicated that there have been people who have come to the exhibition three times since the start of its activities, noting that this reflects the great diversity of the exhibition program and the continuous change of its activities, pointing to the interest from visitors in sales of seasonal tickets and multi-entry tickets.

She added, "We are pleased with the sales of (Expo 2020 Dubai) tickets," noting that the continuous increase in the number of visits reflects the diversity of activities, especially families, to learn about the pavilions, programs and offers that allow them to explore the exhibition, in addition to business events such as the World African Business Forum, As well as the celebrations of the national days of the countries participating in the exhibition.

She added that until the day before yesterday, the virtual "Expo" website had witnessed 9.3 million visits, which reflects the interest in following the international event from all sides.

Expo 2020 Dubai will continue until March 31, 2022 and be full of culture, innovation and entertainment.

The Space Week at Expo 2020 Dubai will continue within the ten weeks of topics that fall within the framework of the “Man and Planet Earth” program until October 23, with the wide participation of experts and specialists in space science, and the week’s activities are held in cooperation with the Emirates Space Agency and the Mohammed bin Rashid Center For space, in order to discuss the benefits, solutions and challenges of exploring beyond the orbit of the planet, and opportunities for exploration and development of science related to understanding space.
