On October 17, local time, the 75-year-old former US President Bill Clinton was discharged from a California hospital accompanied by his wife Hillary. He received several days of treatment in the hospital because of the spread of urinary system infection to the blood.

  Clinton has faced other health challenges in the past.

He underwent four heart bypass operations in 2004 and implanted two stents to open an artery in 2010.
