Sisi calls for building the right awareness to confront destructive ideas

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed today, Sunday, that the issue of awareness represents the current issue of the nation and a factor of stability and development.
In his speech today at the Ministry of Awqaf’s celebration of the Prophet’s birthday, Sisi said that “the values of the message of Islam received by the Holy Prophet call for contemplation and the application of reason in research and contemplation.”
He pointed out that "building the nation's awareness in the right way is one of the factors of its stability and progress in the face of destructive ideas," stressing the importance of raising the status of science and scholars for research, meditation and access to the correct understanding of life.
Al-Sisi stressed the importance of the issue of rational awareness and an understanding of true religion, stressing that it will remain a priority in the current stage, stressing that building the awareness of any nation in a correct manner is one of the most important factors for its stability and progress in the face of those who distort words from their positions, and spread destructive ideas that undermine the ability of human beings. In correct thinking and creativity, to deviate them from performing the divine commands of rebuilding and reforming the universe for the good of all humanity, and as a method for humanity in promoting the human soul and controlling its movement in life.
During the celebration, Sisi honored a number of scholars and imams of the Ministry of Awqaf.
In turn, the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, said that the morals and human qualities of the Holy Prophet reflect the values of mercy, calling for the values of the Prophet Muhammad to overcome challenges and confront crises.
