Fight, create, build on the heritage of Sankara.

The ambition of this 27th edition of Fespaco is to highlight the new generations.

Present, the Head of State Roch Marc Christian Kabore wondered about the difficulties in the cinema sector: “

What are the constraints, the prospects for African cinema?

It will be necessary that all the actors of this world look at it so that we can remove all the obstacles which prevent African cinema from prospering.

"

We all need the same thing

: hope

With nearly 40 dancers and a superb choreography, all supported by renowned artists such as the Senegalese Baba Maal, Serge Aimé Coulibalya has succeeded in his bet: to restore the image of Fespaco, to prove that Faso is indeed there. “

We have to bring together all of our strength to be able to show the world that we stay upright,” he

explains, “

that we are there on our feet and that we are ready to move forward despite adversity. We all need the same thing

: hope.

 "

A posture also claimed by Fespaco officials.

The seventh art, it should be remembered, can validly defend peace by flexing all forms of fundamentalism and extremism for activists in prison and defend solidarity between our peoples,"

underlines Salifo Taida, who chairs the committee of 'organization.

Long live African cinema!

Long live the Fespaco!
