The story of an elderly woman in the United States who went to prison while nursing her daughter after surgery has been released, drawing attention.

On the 14th local time, foreign media including CBS reported that a 70-year-old woman, Lynn Savage, was detained for one day in a hospital in Florida for violating Corona 19 quarantine rules.

According to reports, Savage experienced the same thing after refusing the hospital's request to leave after 7 pm.

The reason Savage stayed in the hospital was to take care of her daughter who had brain surgery.

Savage's daughter was paralyzed in her right face after a stroke and was unable to speak properly.

Savage visited the hospital every day to take care of her daughter, and on the 4th, the day of surgery, she was there from 6:30 in the morning.

According to the local corona quarantine rules, outsiders who are not patients must leave the hospital after 7 pm.

However, Savage could not leave because she was worried about her daughter who had undergone surgery.

A former sheriff, he refused to leave the hospital, knowing what was going to happen to him.

"The nurses and security guards politely asked me to leave the hospital, but I refused," Savage told CBS.

"The day I spent in prison was so terrifying that I don't want to go through it again, but I don't regret my actions at all," he said.

Savage's daughter, who underwent surgery, is said to be recovering at home.

Savage is handed over to trial on charges of trespassing into the hospital and is due to appear in court on the 20th.
