The Cape Wildlife Center in the US state of Massachusetts posted on its Facebook page an interesting photo of a two-headed and six-legged turtle.
The center commented on the post, "You don't see two; you're one turtle."

The center stated that this condition occurs due to the influence of genetic and environmental factors that cause a mutation in the composition of the egg in which the turtle is formed.

He stressed that such cases often die quickly because they cannot adapt to the surrounding environment;
"But the researchers at the center will do their best to keep the turtle alive," he added.
