At a demonstration by various left groups in downtown Frankfurt on Saturday, numerous participants protested, among other things, against the power of the financial markets.
The police spoke of around 500 people who had gathered for a demonstration.
Slogans such as “For life, against capitalism” could be seen on banners.
At an intermediate rally on Opernplatz, the Antagon Theater put on a performance.
The demonstration was reportedly part of a nationwide initiative.
