Chinanews, October 16th, according to Russian satellite network reports, NASA said that at 17:34 on September 16th, Beijing time, Atlas-V rockets carrying the "Lucy" probe Launched from Cape Canaveral.
The research object of this mission is the Trojan asteroid group of Jupiter.
These asteroids share an orbit with Jupiter to orbit the sun. They are remnants (fossils) of the original protoplanetary material that formed the solar system.
"Lucy" mission project scientist Tom Statler said, "This is a unique discovery opportunity because we will explore the distant past of our solar system."
