The World Bank noted that Melpas welcomed Overchuk's views on "a new approach to assessing the investment and business climate" in the world.

The parties discussed the fight against climate change, reforms in the energy sector, as well as the topic of helping poor countries in the fight against the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier it was reported that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk called his meeting at the State Department excellent, where he was received by First Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman.
