Unsurprisingly, Anne Hidalgo won this evening the vote of the members of the Socialist Party to be the candidate of the PS in the presidential election.
The mayor of Paris has collected nearly 72% of the votes out of 90% of the votes cast, far ahead of his rival Stéphane le Foll.
The start of a new campaign, we hope among the Socialists while the candidate is currently capping at 5% of voting intentions in the polls.
