The controversy over the future of the player, whose contract with PSG expires next June, followed a great performance with the France team.

Scorer from a penalty in the semi-final against Belgium (3-2), then in the final against Spain (2-1), the former Monegasque contributed to the coronation of the Blues in the League of Nations.
