According to him, the chief of the General Staff will discuss with Russian officials the cooperation of the countries in the military sphere, the fight against terrorism, as well as regional and international issues.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed by phone the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program.
