The Dubai Arabian Horse Stud has concluded its exceptional auction, which was held on the grass field in the stud, organized by the Emirates Auctions.

The Dubai auction of purebred Arabian horses attracted more than 220 participants from different regions of the world, most notably Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Europe, in addition to participants representing a number of national studs. The auction included 119 horses, which topped the highest price of their sales in the auction. The skilled (De Rayana) from the stallion (FAL Rachim) and the mare (De Renana), with a value of 900,000 dirhams, then the mare (De Renana) from the stallion (De Khataf), and the mare (Beautiful) with a value of 800,000 dirhams.

The auction activities were attended by Faisal Al Rahmani, President of the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing (IFHAR), Dr. Ghanem Obaid Al Hajri, Secretary General of the Emirates Equestrian Federation, Qusai Obaidullah, Director General of the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship, and Khalifa Al Nuaimi, CEO of Al Aryam Stud, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Al Dhafra Horse Beauty Championship. The auction was marked by the international presence of a large number of breeders, owners and lovers of purebred Arabian horses who represent global, regional and local studs.

The Dubai Stud presented a group of the finest horses of its new production with a number of horses with immaculate records in international championships, in order to give the “Expo 2020” occasion the global privacy it deserves, translating the position of the quality brand for Dubai and the UAE as a global market for excellence and quality, and empowering horse lovers. The Arab is one of the anchors of the world from the desired benefit of the occasion as an opportunity, feasible and historical.

Just as the Dubai stud recorded a generous initiative for the benefit of the participants in the last auction by allocating a group of Shabwat, the contemporary global production stallion (FAL Rasheem) and the international stallion (Di Siraj), the “Expo 2020” auction witnessed the process of drawing lots for three groups, including Shabwa, Shaboutin and three Shabwa The stallions are divided according to the purchase value.

Ammar Hussein Issa Al Darmaki won for the first group in Shabwa (Rashim), and for the second group in Shabwa (Rashim), Arkan Al Kubaisi, owner of Al Rimas Stud, and Abdullah Muhammad Al Majid from Saudi Arabia, in Shabwa (Di Siraj). The winners of the third group were in Shabwa (Rashim) Ajmal Stud from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in Shabwa (Di Siraj) Abdullah Muhammad Al-Kaabi from the State of Qatar, Ahmed Al-Kubaisi and Al-Rimas Stud. The auction was also allocated to Shabwa by Al Fahal (FAL Rasheem) to the audience of followers of the auction, and was awarded to Omar Hussein Khawaj from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Faisal Al-Rahmani confirmed that the auction was a distinguished event by all standards by which horse auctions in general, and Arabian horses in particular, are measured. He continued, "The financial value achieved by the auction is a very high rate that made it one of the strongest auctions, and indeed the most powerful at all."

Engineer Mohammed Al-Tawhidi, General Supervisor and Director General of the Dubai Stud, said that the auction was a historic opportunity that gave the beneficiaries high-quality horses that will have a role in the podiums and the development of the production of their studs.

He continued in a press statement: "The auction achieved its objectives as a historical opportunity that derived its position from the World Expo, and was reflected with great benefit on the choices of the participants, who numbered more than 220 participants in actual attendance or through live broadcasts.

We presented, as promised, good horses that brought happiness to the hearts of their owners.
