This mission is Wang Yaping's second expedition to space. She has been known by the public as a "space teacher" before.

During the Shenzhou 10 mission in 2013, with the cooperation of teammates Nie Haisheng and Zhang Xiaoguang, Wang Yaping gave space teaching to more than 60 million primary and middle school students across the country on Tiangong 1, which inspired the curiosity of young people to explore space.

"My classmates and I have seen your space teaching video and are full of yearning for space." At the meeting, a representative of elementary school students from the Hotan area of Xinjiang said to Wang Yaping, "Our children from the Midwest will prepare for you and the crew. A mysterious gift has been delivered to the space station. I hope you like it."

After listening, Wang Yaping smiled and expressed his gratitude to the girl, "Thank you, this lovely child, I am looking forward to your gifts. Thank you for coming to the scene to help us launch."

Popularization of science is an important mission of China's aerospace industry.

During the Shenzhou 13 mission, as the astronauts conduct more scientific and technological experiments, they will also carry out diversified science education activities.

The addition of Wang Yaping will add even more icing on the cake for this task.

Many people have already begun to look forward to the arrival of the "second lesson" taught in space.

In Wang Yaping's view, the Shenzhou 10 mission has not only realized her "flying dream", but also her childhood "teacher dream".

"Actually, after teaching from the Shenzhou 10 space, many students wrote to me asking this question, when will they be able to fly into space again to give you another lesson." Wang Yaping said.

In fact, while sowing the seeds of "scientific dreams" for young people, Wang Yaping is also teaching by precepts and deeds, practicing his "flying dreams" with actions, and working hard for the next space teaching.

Wang Yaping has stated in many media interviews that he wants to explore deeper and farther space in the future.

She even said with a smile that if she had a chance to land on the moon, she would put on a Chang'e costume, hug the rabbit, and come to a real Chang'e flying to the moon.

On October 14, a press conference for the Shenzhou 13 manned mission was held at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

It is understood that China will launch the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft at 0:23 on October 16.

What preparations did the Shenzhou 13 flight crew make for this mission?

What training is required?

Behind the realization of dreams are contributions that ordinary people can't see. From overweight endurance training, life-saving training in harsh environments, to underwater training for out-of-cabin activities, Wang Yaping challenged himself and challenged his limits time and time again.

Once overweight endurance training was her shortcoming.

The facial muscles were deformed, tears flowed out unconsciously, and it was difficult to breathe. Even though every training session felt like every second, she never pressed the red pause button at hand.

In order to pass the assessment, she also actively increases the training every day to enhance the strength of the abdominal muscles and back muscles.

On October 14, a press conference for the Shenzhou 13 manned mission was held at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

It is reported that Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu will carry out the manned mission of Shenzhou 13 and stay in orbit for 6 months.

The Shenzhou 13 manned mission is the sixth mission in the key technology verification phase of the space station and the last mission in this phase.

"Today, I can tell you with great pleasure that after 8 years of unremitting efforts, Teacher Yaping has finally succeeded in pursuing his dream again, and will soon fly into space with the dreams and expectations of the students." Wang Yaping said emotionally at the scene.

Wang Yaping said that before Feitian, what she wanted to say to her classmates was, “A dream of flying is never weightless, and a scientific dream has infinite tension. As long as you dare to have dreams, have the courage to pursue dreams, and build your own dream spacecraft with wisdom and sweat, you will be able to Usher in the launch moment of your dream and fly to the vast starry sky that belongs to you!" This sentence is not only Wang Yaping's message to the teenagers, but also a vivid portrayal of herself.
