The Kremlin spokesman answered the question if there is a line after which the Russian authorities will be ready to move on to "more decisive measures" in the fight against coronavirus.

Peskov noted that "speech is not within the line, and it is unlikely that it can be."

He added that some experience had been gained during the fight against the pandemic.

A presidential spokesman said the entire medical infrastructure has been mobilized in Russia.

Peskov noted that "now there are more treatment technologies, treatment protocols, and infrastructural opportunities."

"As long as the health infrastructure in a particular region does not choke and is in working order, it will continue this way," Peskov said.

He noted that it is necessary to significantly intensify the work on explaining the need for vaccination.

Peskov explained that in the constituent entities of Russia, in which the situation is approaching critical and where the regional health care system can no longer provide assistance to new patients, local authorities make decisions based on their powers.

Earlier, the Kremlin called the refusal of vaccination irresponsible.
