In Russia, 31 299 cases of coronavirus were detected per day 

Over the entire time of the pandemic in Russia, 7,892,980 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed.

Over the past day, 986 people have died in the country from the consequences of coronavirus infection, according to the operational headquarters.

Over the entire period, 220,315 deaths were recorded in Russia.

The day before, 984 deaths were reported.

It is noted that 21,670 people were discharged a day after the coronavirus.

In total, 6,937,756 patients recovered during the pandemic.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, said that more than 51 million Russians were vaccinated with the first component of the coronavirus vaccine in Russia. 

Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously stated the need to increase the rate of vaccination.

In September, the immunologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences Nikolai Kryuchkov, in an interview with the FAN, gave recommendations on vaccinations against influenza and coronavirus.
