Already on Thursday evening, a new political majority can be tried in Skurup at an extra meeting with the municipal council.

At the same time, Ann-Helen Nilsson (C), chair of the City Council, believes that it may be some time before the matter is decided:

- There may be a re-referral.

But it can be a lively debate in any case, she told SVT Nyheter Skåne on Thursday.

Several left SD

It was after several Sweden Democrats left their party and became political savages that the New Group submitted its proposal.

The case is signed by Magnus Alm (S), Lena Axelsson (S), Roland Hansson (S), Kerstin Peterson-Brodda (L), Babak Rahimi (V), Jörgen Lidfeldt (-) and Jimmy Nilsson (SD).

In short, the proposal is that the opposition now takes the help of former Sweden Democrats to form a majority and take over the political government in Skurup.

"Back and forth"

The case has already been hammered through in the municipal board and that decision has been appealed with so-called inhibition of M and SD, which means that they want to wait with an implementation of the decision.

According to the chairman of the City Council, the inhibition has been rejected, which means that the matter is now being processed.

The municipal board only prepares the matter, the actual decision is made in the council.

- There will probably be some processes back and forth before we land in a decision that is legal, says Ann-Helen Nilsson (C), chair of the City Council.

The ordinary council meeting has now been postponed to 1 November.
