It is noted that Blinken thanked his colleague from the UAE for his support during the operation to evacuate citizens of the United States and other countries from Afghanistan.
On October 6, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State discussed the situation around the Iranian nuclear deal and a number of topical issues on the bilateral agenda.
