It is one of the most popular Banksy graphs.
It is even the favorite of the British

He was born on a wall at Waterloo Bridge, South London, in 2002. There was a quote with him that said, “
There is always hope
”.
In 2018, during the previous sale, the painting had literally fallen to shreds under the dumbfounded glances of the spectators.
The artist had placed a crusher in the frame of the work.
The Sotheby's auction house, which was not aware, then spoke of the "

".

At the time, Banksy had justified his gesture.
The artist whose true identity nobody knows wanted to denounce the commodification of art.
Not sure whether he appreciates the selling price of his repaired work: an estimate of 5 million euros, nearly five times more than the price set during the first sale.
