October 13, 2021 There is a "situation of extreme concern among colleagues, now systematically insulted and sometimes attacked by the most extreme and exaggerated fringes, and in any case a minority, of the increasingly frequent demonstrations against the health measures in force".

This is the report made today by a delegation of journalists received by the prefect of Trieste, Valerio Valenti, composed of the presidents of the Regional Order and Assostampa Fvg, Cristiano Degano and Carlo Muscatello, and by the journalist of Rai Fvg who on Monday suffered a assault together with the telecine operator during the "no Green pass" parade in Trieste.

In this situation, unfortunately characterized by an escalation whose outcomes cannot be identified, the same right and duty to inform guaranteed by the Constitution - Muscatello and Degano said, as reported in a note - is put at risk.

"Prefect Valenti - reads the note - aware of the extremely difficult situation in the city, even on the eve of new protests, has ensured his attention to the problems that the representatives of the category have reported to him".
