Zuev was placed under house arrest until December 7.
Earlier, the Interior Ministry reported that the rector of "Shaninka" Zuev was detained on suspicion of embezzling over 21 million rubles belonging to the Fund for New Forms of Education Development.
The former Deputy Minister of Education of Russia Marina Rakova is also involved in this case.
