Several dead and injured: "A tragedy"
Several people have been injured and several have died after a man shot with a bow in Kongsberg southwest of Oslo.
This is confirmed by the police at a press conference on Wednesday evening.
The person has been arrested by the police.
- This is a tragedy, I have no words, says Kari Anne Sand, municipal councilor in Kongsberg, to VG.
- We have deployed all available resources, says Øyvind Aas at the police during the press conference, according to NRK.
Local police receive help from Norwegian police nationally.
The security police are also informed.
- We assist with national resources such as police helicopters, bomb squads and emergency personnel, says press manager Unni Grøndal at the police.
