The RT VR film "The Lessons of Auschwitz", timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the largest Nazi death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau (Auschwitz) by Soviet troops, won gold awards in the nominations Video Art & Experimental Film, Directing (Production Design / Art Direction), Innovation.

The video series "War: Children's Drawings in VR Animation" won gold in the Animation category and bronze in the Use of Technology category.

The RT documentary series ABC of Victory: From Brest to the Reichstag was awarded bronze in the Feature Documentaries and History & Society nominations.

The RT promo for the 2020 US presidential election won gold in the Special Visual Effects: Promotion / Open & IDs category and silver in the News Promotion category. During the election race, RT presented a video about how Donald Trump's work on a TV channel might look like if he lost the election. The video is made using deepfake technology.

In July 2021, the RT Infinite Letter project received a bronze at the New York Festivals Advertising Awards.

A year earlier, the New York Festivals gold award was also awarded to a book with augmented reality (AR) elements of the multimedia social media project # Romanovs100.

The historical project RT # 1917LIVE, reports from Libya, Julian Assange's program on RT and documentaries of the TV channel also became the winners of the festival's highest award in previous years.
