October 13, 2021 Labor MP Claudia Webbe was found guilty of harassment by Westminster Magistrates Court in London.

The 56-year-old black community passionate and militant active for years in campaigns against racism in the United Kingdom and the spread of weapons, according to the court, has offended and threatened (moved by jealousy) in several phone calls Michelle Merritt, a friend of her partner Lester Thomas, going so far as to say he wants to "use acid" against her.

For this she risks prison as she was reminded today in court.

The hearing to indicate the sentence was set for 4 November.

She said she was "in shock" but reiterated that she was innocent and is ready to appeal.

The Labor Party has demanded that he resign.

Webbe, elected as a deputy to the House of Commons in December 2019, was an important ally of former opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn when he led Labor.
