Full on the tire workshops after reports of snow

Halkan made it to the traffic during Wednesday morning and several accidents occurred, mainly in the Skellefteå area.

Tomorrow, snow is expected in parts of the county and this has made people now want to change to winter tires.

Fredrik Bång, CEO of a tire company in Umeå, says that it is fully booked three days ahead and that the workshop can only receive customers via drop-in.

When we are in place, there is a two-hour waiting time.

Also in Lycksele and Vilhelmina, the workshops we spoke to are full.

- We have had to bring in extra staff, people have seen that it will be snow and then they want to change now, says Germund Nilsson who is one of the co-owners of a tire company in Vilhelmina.
