Albania sends its Prime Minister Edi Rama and Finland its Head of State - President Sauli Niinistö.

But otherwise, the guest list for Malmö International Forum for the Remembrance of the Holocaust and the Fight against Anti-Semitism consists of many ambassadors and ministers.

A total of 44 countries participate in the meeting according to the Government Offices' list, but some of them participate at a distance.

Some send only a pre-recorded speech.

Like the United States, where Foreign Minister Antony Blinken sends a pre-recorded speech, as does French President Emmanuel Macron.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog participates via a link, but also sends Minister Nachman Shai, who handles Israel's contacts with Jews in the diaspora, to Malmö.

Among the countries that only send ambassadors are Argentina, Australia and Moldova.

Our neighboring country Denmark sends its Minister of Justice Nick Hækkerup (S) and Norway is represented by Swedish Ambassador Aud Kolberg.

Facebook and Google

The Catholic Church will have a representative on site, as well as the Yad Vashem Research Center for Holocaust Victims in Jerusalem, the UN and the EU.

Representatives of the major social media platforms Facebook, Google and Tiktok are also present and among the ten civic organizations that come to Malmö are the Jewish World Congress (WJC) and the American Jewish Committee (AJC).

The forum will deal with four themes: Remembrance of the Holocaust, education about the Holocaust, anti-Semitism on social media and the fight against anti-Semitism and other forms of racism.

The aim of the conference is for the participants to present their own concrete and forward-looking commitments in the field.

A total of 350 to 400 participants are expected to be present at the Malmö Fair in Hyllie, and the list of participants is not yet complete.
