Sisi: European friends should understand the reality of what is happening in Egypt

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi stressed today, Tuesday, that "our European friends must understand the reality of what is happening in Egypt," saying: "We are a leadership that respects and loves its people and strives for their progress."

During his speech at the summit conference of Visegrad with Egypt, held in Hungary, Sisi added: “We do not need anyone to tell us that your human rights standards have exceeded ... No ... I am responsible for 100 million lives and their preservation ... This is not easy. Hungary has 10 million citizens... The Netherlands has 40 million citizens and Egypt has 100 million.”

He continued, "65% of the people of Egypt are young and have hope and want to live... and I want to say to friends in Visegrad: I thank you for the stance that supports the Egyptian state."

Al-Sisi affirmed that the Egyptian state launched the “Decent Life” initiative to “improve the lives of 60 million citizens in the Egyptian countryside, with all the meaning and meaning of this word.”

Al-Sisi added, “The number allocated to the “Decent Life” initiative is close to 700 billion pounds, so that we can change the lives of citizens in education, health, sewage networks, roads, everything.”

"You are dealing with a country that fully respects itself and its people," he added.

He explained that the Egyptian state does not allow illegal immigration to preserve the lives of refugees, adding: "We do not accept from a moral or humanitarian perspective that we leave them on the way to Europe and meet their fate at sea... We will not allow these people to be unknown or lost."

Al-Sisi affirmed that “Egypt is a country that strives with determination and strong determination for progress and urbanization in all fields... and what has been done in Egypt during the last seven years is proof of that in order to provide a decent life for citizens.”
