  Prayut said that the epidemic in Thailand is easing, and he has asked the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Management Center and the Ministry of Health to assess the conditions for opening the entry of international tourists.

According to the plan, from November 1st, international travelers who have been fully vaccinated with the new crown vaccine, come from low-risk countries and regions and have a negative nucleic acid test, will be exempted from quarantine after arriving in Thailand by plane.

  He said that the first batch of lists includes 10 low-risk countries and regions, including China, and more countries and regions will be gradually added from December 1.

As for international tourists who are not on the list, they still need to be quarantined and related requirements after entry.

  In addition, Prayut stated that with appropriate anti-epidemic measures, Thailand is also considering allowing drinking in restaurants and opening entertainment venues from December 1 to support the recovery of the tourism and leisure industry and welcome the arrival of the New Year holiday.

  Regarding the gradual opening of entry for eligible international tourists from November, Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports Pippa said on the 12th that the Ministry is ready to implement the plan and should be barrier-free.
