On October 10, local time, American meteorologists warned that parts of Oklahoma and Texas are expected to experience severe weather later in the day.

  The Tropical Storm Prediction Center (SPC) of the United States has issued Class 4 "moderate" severe storm warnings in parts of Oklahoma. These severe storms will be able to produce large hail, strong tornadoes, and destructive winds.

More than 2 million people across the state will face the threat of severe storms, with the most affected areas being Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
